Dr. Vishal Ranpura
Dr. Vishal Ranpura is board-certified in Hematology and Oncology, and he joined Suburban Hematology Oncology in August 2021 after moving to Georgia.
He graduated from Medical College Baroda (India) in 2005 and did his hematology/oncology fellowship at Washington Hospital Center/Georgetown University Hospital in DC from 2011-2014. He has won multiple awards from the ASCO.
His father was a great inspiration for him in deciding to become a physician. “He passed away from multiple myeloma, a form of blood cancer. Watching his journey going through cancer left a lasting impact and inspired me to become an oncologist to help and heal the pain and suffering of cancer patients.”
In his spare time, he spends time with his wife and children. They love to do things such as hiking, yoga, meditation, and watching comedy movies. He is also very spiritual. He prays daily and goes to the temple regularly. He is also a vegetarian and believes in a plant-based diet.
Dr. Ranpura is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati.
He sees patients in our Lawrenceville and Hamilton Mill offices.
