Nanyoung Park, N.P.

Nanyoung earned her nursing degree from Seoul National University in 1994. She worked as a middle school nurse in Korea for five years before coming to the United States. In 1999, she and her husband moved to St. Paul, MN to study at the University of Minnesota continuing their education: her husband pursuing a PH.D and she, a Masters degree in Nursing with a specialty in oncology. During her Masters degree program, she worked as an oncology nurses in the Bone marrow transplant unit at the University of Minnesota Hospital until 2004 when she moved to North Carolina and worked in the cancer center at the UNC Chapel Hill Hospital.

 

In 2007, she and her family moved to Atlanta, GA where she worked as a Registered Nurse at Northside Hospital. After a lot of thought, she decided to go back to school to get a post master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner. She studied at Emory graduating in 2011 and is now a nurse practitioner at Suburban Hematology and Oncology.

 

She has been working for oncology patients for almost 15 years.

 

Nanyoung is happily married with two daughters. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her daughters as well as other hobbies such was walking, hiking, and traveling with her family.
