Dr. Dave Gupta

Dr. Dave Gupta earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Athens GA. He completed his residency at Emory University and then completed a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology also at Emory University. He is the former Chief Resident of the Emory University Internal Medicine Program and has been inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

 

Dr. Gupta chose to develop a special focus on Oncology because he was drawn to the innovation and advances happening in cancer care, and he wanted to be a part of connecting them to patients who stand to benefit from them in a personalized, meaningful way. He is thoughtful about the care he provides and is a skilled communicator. He believes that patients deserve a doctor who understands complicated medical issues but also knows how to discuss them simply and clearly.

 

Dr. Gupta is married and has two wonderful girls. He loves to travel and experience new foods and cultures. He enjoys cooking, tennis, and teaching.
