As my interest in science grew, I saw how it can be used as a tool in medicine to treat patients. Now I am very excited to be part of field that has seen a recent transformation with the introduction of immunotherapy and CAR-T therapy which challenges me to be well informed in order to provide the best care to all of my patients. Lastly, the biggest factor of why I chose hematology/oncology as a profession was the unique doctor-patient relationship which is built on trust and communication with the patient and their family. “
